There will be a fish distribution on Thursday August 14, 2025

The FSC catch has been delivered and is currently being off-loaded at Cove Fish in Port Hardy. Once transportation is arranged, delivery is expected to arrive around 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, August 14, 2025.

Once the salmon is here, we will begin distribution and continue all day until complete. Staff please be prepared for a long day.

Due to the hot weather, we will be delivering directly to each household on reserve.

If you are missed, fish will be available at the office. Members are invited to pick up their fish at their convenience behind the office at the big outdoor tent.

We have two Fisheries trucks and two Public Works trucks assisting with door-to-door delivery for on-reserve members.
For off-reserve members, Floyd and Darlene will manage distribution in Duncan tomorrow afternoon, followed by distribution at Mayfair Mall after picking up additional totes of salmon.

Important:
All members must have their status card/number and sign the distribution sheet when receiving their salmon.

This year, Sockeye and Pink salmon will be distributed. Final household amounts will be determined once off-loading is complete.
Please remember, next year is the peak year for Sockeye; this year’s peak run is Pink salmon.

We will have a tent set up behind the building to provide shade and distribution for members who wish to pick up their fish.

Please have your totes ready for this delivery and be patient as we work to distribute the fish as quickly as possible.
