Temporary Summer Employment Opportunities – Public Works Department
The Public Works Department is currently hiring multiple temporary summer workers to join our team from mid-June through September.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience while helping maintain and improve community infrastructure and public spaces. Summer staff will work alongside experienced maintenance personnel and assist with a variety of seasonal projects.
Position Details
- Multiple positions available
- Mid-June through September
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
- Assisting Public Works maintenance staff
- Roadside clearing and vegetation management
- Grass cutting and grounds maintenance
- General labour and seasonal maintenance duties
Applicants should enjoy working outdoors, be dependable, and be willing to work as part of a team.
Potential opportunities for continued employment may be available for successful candidates after the summer season.
