Victoria Native Friendship Centre has released the applications for the Salish Sea work force family housing located at 7611 Central Saanich Rd. Below is an application form to apply for this housing. This housing is work force – affordable housing ; rent will be no more than 30% of household income.

Please call and book an appointment with Monique  in the office. Below are some important guidelines – please note that one requirement is the Gimme Shelter, Rent Smart or Ready to Rent certificate.

Tsawout Housing will be hosting another Gimme Shelter in the near future that will be held after work hours to accommodate working families. Please call 250-652-9101 or email housingoutreach@tsawout.ca to put their name on the list for this. VNFC are looking at a move in date of August 1, 2023.

There are 2 and 3 bedroom suites available, in suite laundry and parking for a monthly fee.

To complete your application, download and fill in all required information; only completed applications will be considered.

• No pets allowed on any of our properties.
• No drugs or smoking of any combustibles allowed on the premises at any time. No alcohol consumption in any common areas and no parties that will disturb the quiet enjoyment of other tenants.
• All adults must complete the Gimme Shelter Program (Salish Sea House requirement) alternatively BC Rent Smart online free program. (Certificate must be attached for application to be accepted)
• All youth (19-25) must work or attend school.
• There is parking on all Properties (Fernwood House and Siem Lelum have limited parking).
• One guest may stay for a total of 14 days in a calendar year.
• Fernwood House and Siem Lelum have coin-operated laundry facilities. Salish Sea House has in-suite laundry.
