Splash Pad and Community Park
SȾÁUTW̱ First Nation is planning to move forward with the development of the SȾÁUTW̱ Community Splash Pad and Community Park, located beside our band office—a site that serves as a vital space for community events and gatherings.
The finalized design incorporates several key elements, including the splash pad, a 40’ by 40’ permanent shelter with an adjoining barbeque pad, a washroom facility, a relocated playground from Tetayut Road, and accessible, lighted pathways connecting these features. In addition, the plan includes a multi-use sports court, designed to support a wide range of recreational activities and promote health and wellness within the community. The estimated cost of this design is $975,000.
While funding has not yet been allocated for this project, we have identified grant opportunities to help support its realization.
This project reflects SȾÁUTW̱ ’s commitment to creating a vibrant and inclusive community space that will serve as a gathering place for current and future generations. We look forward to bringing this vision to life.
