Spring Yard Cleanup Contest

Showcase Your Home’s Transformation!

Spring is here, and it’s time to refresh and beautify our community! Participate in the Tsawout First Nation Spring Clean-Up Contest by cleaning and enhancing your yard. Take before-and-after photos to document your hard work and compete for exciting prizes!

Judging Criteria:

  • Cleanliness – Spaces are clean (50%)
  • Orderliness – Organized, minimized clutter, tidy, and neat (30%)
  • Creativity & Aesthetic Effort – Showcase your unique touch (20%)

Contest runs April 1 -30, 2025. The registration deadline is Monday, April 20, @4pm to register.

Contest Rules

  • Contest open to On-Reserve, CP members, and SȾÁUTW̱ Administration staff.
  • Participants have until April 20, 2025, at 4 pm to register. The Registration Form is available by clicking the link below.
  • Participants can request assistance (moving heavy objects, cutting brush, lawn-mowing, power washing) from the SȾÁUTW̱ Maintenance staff; however, most of the work must come from participants.
  • Participants must call SȾÁUTW̱ Housing to register and the Contest Crew will visit your home to do a “before” picture. Contact information is provided in the poster.
  • “After” pictures will be taken on the 28th-30th of April (Monday-Wednesday) before the deadline, and the decision will be announced on May 5, 2021.
  • All entries must agree to have their before and after pictures posted on SȾÁUTW̱ Website (newsletter), and social media platforms.

Special Awarding will be done in May during the housing community engagement session.

There will be 3 judges for the contest and 1 Facebook vote, which will consist of 25% of each for a total of 100%.
