Tsawout is hosting a Gimme Shelter course on July 5 – 6. Please note this is a requirement for applicants to the Salish Sea Housing being managed by Victoria Native Friendship Centre. We have limited seating.
Lunch will be provided. Participants must attend both full days to receive the certificate.
What is the course about?
The Gimme Shelter course is about preparing individuals for home rental on First Nations lands. You will also learn about:
- Your rights and responsibilities;
- How to create a budget for your housing Learn how to resolve conflict;
- How to manage your home
