Supporting W̱SÁNEĆ and SȾÁUTW̱ Community Elders
The community is seeking multiple Firewood Processing Assistants to support Elders by helping process and prepare firewood for heating.
This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and make a direct contribution to the wellbeing of community Elders.
Position Duties
- Cutting, splitting, and stacking firewood
- Assisting with loading and organizing firewood for delivery
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following all safety procedures when operating tools and equipment
Pay Rate
- $25 per hour
- Personal Protective Equipment Provided
- Ear Protection
- Eye Protection
- Gloves
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work
- Reliability and punctuality
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines
- Appropriate footwear required
